Information for authors of accepted papers

Final manuscript

Authors must submit their final manuscript as a PDF file of maximum 6 pages in double-column IEEE proceedings style by the deadline of December 21, 2010, 23:59 CET. Any improvement required by the reviewers in their comments must be included in the final version of the paper. All papers must exactly fulfill the IEEE formatting requirements, according to the templates available at the IEEE Author Digital Toolbox.

The accepted papers will be published on IEEE Xplore. To comply with IEEE specifications, authors must check their PDF files or convert their sources to PDF through the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus on-line service. Authors must use the ondm2011xp Conference ID to access the PDF eXpress Plus website and must follow the instructions provided on-screen to create a new title for each accepted paper.

Once the IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file has been generated, authors must click on the Approve for Collection link to finally submit their camera-ready. All papers to be included in the conference proceedings will be collected directly from the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus repository.

Copyright form

After submitting their final manuscript, authors must download and complete the IFIP copyright form. One copyright form per accepted paper must be completed. Copyright forms must be uploaded through EDAS. Authors should also make sure that abstract and co-authors in the final manuscript perfectly match the information included in EDAS.

No show policy

In order to have their paper included in the ONDM 2011 Conference Proceedings and published on IEEE Xplore, at least one of the authors is required to register for and attend the conference. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one registration is valid for up to 3 papers. For any international visa issue or invitation letter requirement, please contact the conference chairs.

Instructions for presenters

ONDM 2011 papers will be presented by means of either a lecture-style speech or an open poster discussion. Presenters should check the Conference Technical Program to make sure whether they are scheduled for oral or poster presentation.

Each speaker is allocated the following slot size, including questions from the audience:

  • 20 minutes for regular papers
  • 30 minutes for invited papers

The conference room will be equipped with an LCD projector and a PC. Presenters are required to get in touch with the session chairs at least 10 minutes before their session starts and upload their presentations on the conference PC. Allowed presentation formats include Microsoft Powerpoint (XP and 2007) and PDF.

Poster presentations

Each presenter is required to bring his/her own poster and place it on the assigned board at least 10 minutes before the poster session starts. Each board is 84 cm high and 120 cm wide. The maximum poster size is A0 landscape or A1 portrait. The assigned board will be marked with the poster number (P1 to P18). Pins and tape will be provided to attach the poster to the board. The presenting author is expected to stay close to the poster and discuss his/her work with the audience. Posters should be removed at the end of the session.
